Boombox Eryri

Migrations - a provider of international contemporary dance and performance in Wales, delivering high quality workshops and other events. Working with USA based artist Ely Kim, Migrations filmed 100 people dancing to their favourite music in their favourite place in rural Conwy. The resulting short films are a celebration of dancing, Wales, and its communities.

We were commissioned to produce a packaging solution that felt very special. The folder cover includes all participants’ names, the title being overlaid with a white foil.

This theme is carried through to the enclosed booklet where photos of all 100 dancing participants are revealed. Both films are included within the packaged DVD and distributed to participants and others to both provide a legacy to the Boombox Eryri project and engage current and future stakeholders.

The final 100th scene was filmed at a special disco where Ely Kim danced with participants of the project. Alongside, a short documentary style film was produced.

"Its always a good experience working with Kutchibok. They’re professional and insightful while friendly and helpful - going that extra mile when its needed. We loved the package they produced for our Boombox project."

Karine Décorne (Artistic Director, Migrations)
