We’ve had a busy couple of months with notable projects including the launch of Chapter arts Centre’s new Culture Café, Café Sïo – one of only a few independently owned ventures amongst the many chain restaurants in Cardiff Bay offering quality local seasonal produce as well as a flavour of its unique artistic programme (view here)
We also created a new brand and launched The Brass Beetle – Cardiff’s latest addition to the food scene offering delicious wood-fired pizzas and cocktails. (view here)

Today sees the launch of our new website for Land of Legends, a project developed by Literature Wales with funding from Visit Wales, showcasing the best of Welsh literature, culture, and myths, in the very places which created and inspired them. This was the culmination of several months collaboration with Literature Wales and the hugely talented illustrator Pete Fowler @themonsterist – best-known for Super Furry Animals’ most iconic album covers.
Land of Legends takes you on a magical journey to the heart of who we are, the stories and characters that made us.
Stories about pirates, rebels, smugglers and lost lovers – as well as Wales connections to some of the worlds most beloved books – these are all being brought together in one place, online, for the first time, through a partner project led by Literature Wales.
As lead creative partner we were responsible for the new brand, design and build of the website taking visitors on an interactive storybook tour through Wales. Book-lovers visiting Wales can now plan a personalised trip based around their favourite books and legends. We were delighted to collaborate with Pete Fowler who has created a series of evocative illustrations for each theme and a map which is used on the website.

The Myddfai brand was established in 2010, followed by the launch of a range of toiletries in 2012. Managing director Mike Hill was keen to lift the packaging designs to another level and with the help of Design Wales, commissioned Cardiff based design team Kutchibok, to create this new look.
Design Wales were instrumental in starting the process of the product packaging redesign. After their initial help finding the Kutchibok design team it was up to us to manage the evolution of the packaging and the budget Mike explained. We were very excited to be nominated for the DME award and delighted that we won. The redesign has lifted the brand profile allowing us to compete at the highest level in our target market of boutique and 5* hotels.
